Description: You ask the spirits to open a path unseen by ordinary eyes.   Choose a destination on the same plane that you have personally visited.   The destination must be a place with which you have established a spiritual connection by previously spending at least:   10 minutes   in meditation or communion there.   Choose yourself and up to:   five willing creatures   within range.   Each chosen creature may bring its worn and carried equipment.   The spirits draw the group briefly through the spirit world before returning them to the physical world at the destination.   Each creature appears in the nearest safe unoccupied space.   Ancestral Passage fails if:   The destination is on another plane.   The destination has been destroyed or fundamentally transformed.   Powerful magic prevents teleportation or spiritual travel into the area.   The spirits connected to the destination are absent, silenced, or unwilling to answer.   If the destination has become spiritually corrupted since you last communed with it, you sense that corruption before completing the spell and may choose to cancel the casting without expending the spell slot.   Ancestral Passage cannot be used to enter a place you merely know by description.   You must have:   stood there and communed with its spirits   yourself.
