Description: Choose a point within range. A wave of overwhelming dispelling power erupts in a 15-foot-radius sphere centered on that point.
Choose up to six creatures within the area.
For each chosen creature, you may select:
One harmful spell or magical effect affecting an ally.
One beneficial spell or magical effect affecting an enemy.
If the effect was created by a spell of 6th level or lower, it ends.
For a spell of 7th level or higher, make a spellcasting ability check against:
DC 10 + the spell's level
On a success, the effect ends.
Greater Dispel
Mass Dispel is powerful enough to challenge magical effects that ordinary dispelling cannot remove.
If an effect specifically states that Dispel Magic cannot end it, but the effect is still magical and capable of being suppressed or removed by sufficiently powerful magic, you may attempt to remove it.
Make a spellcasting ability check against a DC determined by the DM, normally:
DC 18
Mass Dispel cannot automatically break:
Artifacts.
Divine interventions.
Permanent world effects.
Effects whose removal requires a specific quest, ritual, object, or story condition.
