Soulstone in Dungeons & Dragons 2024 (D&D)
Wrath Of The Lich King D&D5e
Soulstone
3RD ABJURATION
Casting Time: 1 minute
Range/Area: Touch
Components: V, S, M
Duration: 8 hours
Description: You bind a fragment of a willing creature's soul into a demonic stone and anchor it to the creature's body.
Choose one willing creature you touch.
For the duration, if that creature dies, its soul remains anchored by the Soulstone.
At the start of any of its turns within 1 minute of dying, the creature may consume the Soulstone's magic to return to life.
It returns:
Prone.
With 1 hit point.
Conscious.
The spell then ends.
A creature cannot benefit from more than one Soulstone at a time.
You may have only one active Soulstone created by this spell. Creating another ends the previous Soulstone.
A creature restored by your Soulstone cannot benefit from another Soulstone cast by you until it finishes a long rest.
