Hey, for the drag and drop functionality of Articles and Categories in the Tree list, you can grab an item by holding on it with left click for about a second, this will trigger the drag functionality. Then to drop it inside a Category, simply hold it over it for a second which will make it open up and then you can drop it inside it or inside one of its children. It can be a bit confusing when first trying it out, but it's quite smooth once you figure out the timing and movements!

Please let me know if the above answered your question or you still experience an issue regardless of the drag and drop functionality I've described.

I was previously aware of the functionality and did attempt this method both before and just now again. The issue still persists. Again, the item temporarily moves to the desired location before snapping back the the pervious location as if it had never been swapped. This error occurs both inside and outside of article containers.

Unfortunately i can't reproduce this at all, even when simulating your world structure. So it's either an issue with the browser, so try the same steps on another one and let me know if the same happens. Or there is a change something in your local stored data is conflicting and creating the issue for you only - for this clear your browser's cache from the settings and try again.

If none of the above fixes it, can you send me a video recording of this behavior so I can get a better look at it?

I'm running Firefox 155.0.1 (64-bit) on Bazzite

I've experienced this issue for months, I don't recall the first instance but it's been persistent at least since the new UI update. I'm not losing any written content but I have a major rewrite and it's being slowed down so not urgent but important at the scale I'm rewriting

Workaround of using the Article Management feature doesn't not work. Requires multiple tries. I'll provide a recording at my earliest convenience.
