If I leave an article's page without adding any information into the dropdown menus, those menus are gone when I return to the page.

If I leave an article's page after adding SOME information into the dropdown menus but not everything, only what I have entered is there when I return to the page - anything that was empty is gone.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a new article
2. Give the article a name and type something into the notes but don't select anything (or leave some empty) in the side panel
3. Go to a different page
4. Return to the article you created - side panel is now empty
